Responders scramble to handle wind calls

911 center saw four-days worth of calls in three hours

Union County is recovering after winds near 70 mph tore through the area late last week.

Local officials said emergency responders were called to a wide range of wind-related incidents across the area Friday, including downed power lines, utility poles down, trees blocking roadways, transformer fires...
