Chick-fil-A traffic plan set
Chick-fil-A is set to open April 2 and Marysville officials are working with the company to ensure traffic moves as smoothly as possible. With the anticipated traffic pressures that Thursday through the Saturday after opening, city officials plan to close access to Connolly Street from Lydia Drive and focus traffic entering and exiting the restaurant on Lydia alone. Signage will be onsite directing drivers coming off Delaware Avenue to follow Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard, turn left onto Lydia Drive and enter the Chick-fil-A parking lot. They will then go around the building and exit right back onto Lydia Drive. If traffic backs up, those entering off Delaware will continue going north on Coleman’s to the roundabout near Nationwide Children’s Urgent Care facility. There will also be special duty Marysville police officers onsite to help direct traffic.
