Chick-fil-A plans “moove-in party” for grand opening

By From JT Staff Reports

To celebrate the opening of the Marysville Chick-fil-A next week, the restaurant team is inviting the community to “show their spots” for some free food.

During what the restaurant is calling its Moove-In Party on April 2, restaurant officials said that anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow spots can redeem one free entrée or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

“Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, guests of all ages are invited to join the fun,” the company said in a press release.

The Marysville store’s owner-operator, Josh Crowe, said giveaways are a great way to get the community involved in the restaurant.

“Having grown up in a small town like Marysville, I know how exciting it can be when a new restaurant comes to town,” Crowe said in a release. “We’ve already had a lot of fun connecting with the community through giveaways on social media leading up to the opening, and we’re looking forward to keeping the celebration going with our Moove-In Party and everything to come.”

Crowe began his Chick-fil-A journey at age 16 as a team member and has spent more than a decade growing his career with the brand. As the local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Marysville, he said he looks forward to developing his team and creating a “welcoming place for the community to gather.”

Crowe said he is committed to giving back to the Marysville community by:

-Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the area to aid in the fight against hunger.

-Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.

-Creating approximately 110 jobs.

For the latest news and updates on Chick-fil-A Marysville, visit the restaurant’s Facebook page and follow along on Instagram.

Located at 1000 Delaware Ave., Chick-fil-A Marysville will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru. Because Chick-fil-A restaurants are designed to serve the unique needs of each community, Chick-fil-A Marysville will also feature a playground to serve guests with children.

Opening day offer details include:

-Guests who dress in cow attire on opening day can redeem the offer of one free entrée or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

-Breakfast offer options are a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit, egg white grill or four-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis.

-Lunch/dinner offer options are Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, eight-count grilled nuggets, eight-count Chick-fil-A nuggets or five-count nugget kid’s meal.

The offer is limited to one per person in cow attire, per day, while supplies last. No purchase is necessary. See the restaurant for more details.
