Memorial shows off new Jerome facility
The ribbon cutting and grand opening for Memorial Health’s new 40,000-square-foot, two-story, $27.5-million medical facility off U.S. 42 near Kroger Marketplace in Jerome Township was held Thursday. Above, Memorial President Spence Fisher addresses attendees of the event. Remarks during the event noted that it contains 54,000 bricks and 16,000 square feet of glass, designed on more than 169 architectural drawings. During construction there were 312 construction foreman meetings and 112 owner architect manager meetings. The 13-month project was completed by an average of 63 workers a day, from 20 different crews, who consumed an estimated 84,000 gallons of coffee.
