Community honors service members

Bo Johnstone with the Union County Historical Society speaks to a gathering of residents and community members at the annual Memorial Day event at Oakdale Cemetery Monday. The ceremony included the Prisoners of War & Missing in Action, Military & Gold Star Families and Union County Veterans of the American Revolution honorees as well as various speakers. Additional photos will appear in the Wednesday edition of the Journal-Tribune.
