Triad gets it done in the opener

Triad’s Caleb Jordan (2) celebrates a touchdown reception during Friday’s 40-2 victory over Ridgedale. The win snapped a streak of five straight season-opening losses by the Cardinals. The last time they were 1-0 was in 2020 when they opened the season with a 34-6 win over Southeastern Local.  For stories on all local high school football games, see pages 4 and 5 of today’s newspaper.
