FHS football team faces another big task against IL

It could very well be a case of going from the frying pan into the fire for the Fairbanks High School football squad.

The Panthers opened the 2026 season on the road and fell 45-21 to Colonel Crawford, a team that advanced to the Division VI state championship game in 2025.
