PAUL BEAVER JR.

Paul Beaver Jr., age 87, of Marysville, passed away peacefully from a broken heart, missing his wife Roberta, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Walnut Crossing, Marysville. Roberta passed on May 24, 2026 and they are now reunited after 67 years of marriage.  A lifelong resident of Marysville, Paul was born on November 18, 1938 to the late Paul Sr. and Dorothy Beaver. He was a devoted member of Allen Center Baptist Church, the same church where he and Roberta were married. Together, they shared 67 years of marriage filled with love, faith, laughter and family. He enjoyed mowing the grass on the farm and will be remembered for always being outdoors. He loved his John Deere tractors and was always outside fixing things. Paul worked for the Union County Engineer’s Office for 31 years and was even voted Favorite Employee in 2007. Paul will be dearly missed by his children, Sandra (Clyde) Snyder, Joyce Ann Shreve, and Richard Beaver; his grandchildren, Katrina (Wesley) Thornhill, April (James) Miller, Keith Paul James Shreve, Noah Beaver and Isaac Beaver; his great-grandchildren, Lexus, Deacon, Lilly and Dallas; his sisters, Virginia (Bob) Sparks and Susie (Larry) Fishbaugh; as well as many extended family members and friends. Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Beaver; his parents; sisters, Marie and Betty; brothers, Tom and Danny; and his son-in-law, Clarence Shreve. His family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Underwood Funeral Home, 703 E. Fifth St., Marysville, where funeral services will follow. Paul’s grandson, Keith Paul James Shreve and Pastor Kirby Francis will officiate. Burial will take place at Union Township Cemetery in Milford Center.
