Ruptured pumpkin

By Chad Williamson

Children react as a pumpkin disintegrates as it crashes into a drum of water after being dropped from a Marysville Fire Department ladder truck during the Navin Elementary Pumpkin Drop Wednesday. The event was part of the school’s Great Navin Coin Harvest fundraiser. The event raised $1,385 for the Marysville Blessings in a Backpack program, which provides food to local children in need.
