Heiss, who averages 21.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the Pioneers, was named Player of the Year in boys Division II in voting done by area sportswriters. North Union finished second overall in the girls sectional tournament on Saturday at HP Lanes with a total count of 3373.
