From Union County Sheriff’s Office Reports: A deputy was sent to the Fairfield County Jail at 1:12 a.m., Friday, to take custody of Scott M. Laver, 52, of Baltimore, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Laver was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail. At 1:20 a.m., Friday, deputies assisted Marysville Police Officers with a fight on Grove Court in Marysville. Joyce L. Leslein Starling, age 79, of Marysville, formerly of Delaware, died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Walnut Crossing Senior Living with family by her side. She was a retired associate of Auto Warehousing at the East Liberty Honda plant where she assigned the Honda cars to the trains and trucks for shipping. Robert was a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was an extremely compassionate individual, always willing to help others.
