Kenneth R. Lowry, 86, of Marysville died Jan. 13, 2021 at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing in Dublin following a brief illness. He was a retired truck driver with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and a member of the United Rubber Workers Union. He held memberships in the Marysville Moose Lodge #1651 and the Mechanicsburg Eagles. “Kenny” was a very social person who never knew a stranger. The reporting person indicated his PlayStation 4 and games were stolen. According to Plain City Police Department reports: An officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 3:05 p.m. April 11 to respond to Business Way in reference to an alarm drop. Officers observed a subject driving a blue Ford F150 at the Stone Ridge Mobile Home Park on West Main Street at 4:04 a.m. April 11. The officer had prior knowledge that the subject was out past curfew and initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. Jonathan Alder’s boys tennis squad scored a 4-1 verdict over Hilliard Darby on Monday. Singles results were as follows: -Riley Woods (J) defeated Kondaveeti 6-3, 6-2; -Dominic Gantz (J) topped Kannan 6-1, 6-3; -Jacob Zang (J) downed Davis 6-1, 6-2. The Pioneers split doubles competition. At first doubles, Owen Hecht and Grant Welsch of Alder turned back Williams and Perabithini 7-5, 6-3. Minogue and Cheruvu beat JA’s second doubles team of Ben Haskins and Reed Van Kirk 0-6, 6-4, 6-4.
