Fairbanks’ girls bowling team dropped a 2451-2048 verdict to Mechanicsburg earlier this week. Lily Dellinger led FHS with a 361 and was followed by Katie Dingledine, who rolled a 360. Other two-game scores were Emma Milleson-279 and Liz White-250. Single-game scores were Kaylee Mitton-139 and Grace Koenig-113. The Lady Panthers fell to Elgin 1659-1500 on Wednesday. Although Plain City’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be virtual, local children won’t have to miss out on the opportunity to meet Santa Claus. Once the tree is lit, Santa will participate in a parade around the village, following the route depicted above. The results of the American Heart Association 2020 Workplace Health Achievement Index have been announced and Memorial Health achieved national Gold Level recognition for taking significant steps to build a culture of health in the workplace. Memorial is one of 776 organizations that completed the Index assessment this year, evaluating the period of July 30, 2019 to June 30, 2020. A software company utilized by Memorial Health for its fundraising efforts has suffered a data breach. Blackbaud, a cloud software company, recently disclosed it has been the victim of a ransomware attack that may have involved thousands of client organizations around the world. Affected entities range from non-profits and hospital systems to educational institutions and fundraising-focused companies. Blackbaud officials said cybercriminals attacked their systems and copied a subset of data from their databases.
