According to Marysville Police Department reports: Stephanie Paige Frazee, 47, of West Liberty was cited for driving while under the influence and failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue at 6:04 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an accident involving Frazee and Zane M. Potter, 19, of Hinton Mill Road that occurred at 6:29 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Potter was driving eastbound on Delaware Avenue and stopped with traffic near 825 Delaware Avenue. Life after 9/11 brought on the TSA and lockdown security checks when flying. We think life after COVID-19 will also bring on systemic change. Airline travel was turned upside down on Sept. 11, 2001. Afterwards, the new TSA security system was implemented and eventually streamlined to allow pre-checks to be done before boarding a plane. The program, although a pain in the neck for some, ultimately has worked to make airline travel safer. COVID-19 will also bring on change that shapes the future. We are now ready to celebrate our 61st wedding anniversary. We have appreciated and enjoyed all that Marysville has presented in these many years. Joseph L. and Georgia (Kouvas) Duke will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday. The couple was married Aug. 22, 1970 by Father Papageorgeou at the Greek Orthodox Church in Martins Ferry, Ohio. They are the parents of two children, John Edward Duke and Catherine Duke Reynolds. They also have seven grandchildren. He was employed by IIS Agency/Duke Insurance and she was employed by IIS Agency, as well.
