According to Marysville Police Department reports: Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 1000 block of Lydia Drive at 1:13 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated an intoxicated male caused a disturbance at a local business. Police conducted a traffic stop due to headlights on a motor vehicle at Route 31 at 2:41 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the stop led to an OVI investigation, but was “negative on impairment to arrest.” Police conducted a death investigation in the 1600 block of Millington Way at 4:38 a.m. Thursday. Local first responders were still on the scene this morning of an overnight house fire at 8300 Hinton Mill Road. Jerome Township Fire Chief Douglas Stewart said crews were dispatched at 4:15 a.m. Thursday. He said they arrived to the house “fully engulfed in fire.” As of 10 a.m., he said crews were still at the scene investigating the cause of the incident. He said there were no injuries, as the home was vacant at the time of the fire. According to Marysville Police Department reports: Police responded to a report of theft without consent in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday. Ronald Gavula Jr., 45, of Milford Avenue was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 600 block of Milford Avenue at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Gavula was found “highly intoxicated and passed out” in a grassy area between apartment buildings.
