The Union County Family YMCA has updated safety precautions due to the coronavirus. The county went into the red alert category late last week and YMCA officials have updated their mask requirements. Masks must be worn in the lobby, hallways, locker rooms and restrooms. Patrons must also wear masks on the pool deck and while sitting on the commons areas, such as on the bleachers and spectator viewing. Mask must also be worn outside if the six-foot social distancing mandate cannot be maintained. There are several exceptions to the regulation. Masks do not have to be worn during group exercise…
Devin Syar of Marysville and Samantha Deeds of Johnstown will celebrate their wedding with a private ceremony in Northern Ohio on July 29, 2020. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brett Deeds. According to information from the Union County Health Department, a Level 3 classification “means the risk for exposure to COVID-19 has increased as sustained spread within the county has been identified in recent weeks.” Union County residents should continue to follow all standard precautions and health orders. Charlie Battery, first of the 174th Air Defense Artillery Regiment of the Ohio National Guard is assembling in person again.
