A Richwood man is under indictment after allegedly fleeing from police on a golf cart. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Charles G. Jordan, 60, of 127 Beatty Ave., Richwood, charging him with one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, operating a vehicle under the influence, failure to submit to chemical tests, criminal damaging or endangering and tampering with drugs. A group of men are under indictment, the result of their actions during the recent deer-hunting season. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Anthony L. Long and John Russell Fox, on unrelated gun charges, stemming from a series of alleged hunting violations. Union County Prosecutor Dave Phillips said both men were hunting deer with guns. A Marysville woman could be facing more than a year in prison after allegedly breaking into her mother’s home. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Johnna Ann Carter, 21, whose court-listed address is Sixth Street, Marysville, charging her with one count of trespass in a habitation. According to court documents, On Dec. 5, deputies caught Carter in her mother’s home in Milford Center. A convicted murderer and her son could each be facing prison time soon after a scheme to allegedly sneak a variety of drugs into a local prison. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Tina McDowell and her son Jerh Walters, charging both with two counts of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility. McDowell is serving a 30-year to life sentence in the Dayton Correctional Institution, convicted of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence. A Marysville man with a history of violence against his wife has been indicted for allegedly hitting her again and this time endangering their son as well. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Otis R. Ratliff, 32, of 624 Kentucky Circle, Marysville. Ratliff is charged with one count each of endangering children and felony domestic violence. Plain City officials are planning to look at the way they prepare budgets for the village. At Plain City Village Council’s meeting Monday night, the group tabled a pair of motions that would move revenue into funds based on the village’s approved percentage model.
