Pearl Kramer Davis, 85, of West Jefferson died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at his home. He was born in Milford Center to the late James and Dessie Davis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he owned and operated Davis Barber Shop in West Jefferson for 36 years. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson. The Triad junior high football team upped its record to 2-0 with Thursday’s 36-0 triumph over Madison Plains. Hunter Thompson had a strong game for the Cardinals. According to Plain City Police Department reports: An officer observed a tan Saturn SUV traveling southbound on North Chillicothe Street stop 20-30 feet past the stop bar at the intersection of North Chillicothe and Main streets at 3:08 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.
