Bunsold Middle School (BMS) officials recently weighed in on how the school will prepare for its future enrollment numbers. Even though data provided by BMS shows an increase in student population and a decrease in teaching staff, BMS Principal Michelle Kaffenbarger said the number of students attending the middle school has been fairly consistent over the years, and will most likely stay leveled out. Thomas and Jeanine Rausch are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today. They were married at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Feb. 8, 1959, in front of their families and friends. They are former high school sweethearts who graduated from Chuckery-Darby High School, and have lived in the Marysville area throughout their married life. They are the parents of four children, Bruce Rausch, LuAnn Reed, Suzanne Kidwell and Jay Rausch. Their lives have also been blessed with 10 grandchildren, along with 14 great-grandchildren. Richwood Council members are in the process of another new update for the village, working on the downtown beautification project and the resurfacing of Franklin Street through the village. During Monday night’s regular meeting, a few more requests were made to coincide with the upcoming project. Kenneth L. Mitchell, 78, of Marysville, died Monday morning, Jan. 14, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family, following a number of months of failing health. A 1958 graduate of Northwestern High School, he was a self-employed and well respected contractor in the area since 1968.
