The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association made their fifth stop of the season at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Kenton on Thursday where local golfer Justin Brackenridge of Fairbanks was able to card a 39-39-78 to end his day in second place behind the course leader Mallory Graham of Mt. The Marysville Elite 17U team lost a tight battle of 2-1 to the Kaneland Knights at the King’s Island Classic Sunday. Jack Christian got the nod to take the mound to start the game and was able to strikeout out two Knights while giving up six hits and two earned runs during the loss. Local golfer Justin Breckenridge of Fairbanks took second place in a field of 20 golfers in the 16-18 division. Brackenridge tallied a 36-40-70, shooting a one under on the day putting him only one stroke behind the course winner Mallory Graham, who shot a 39-36-75.
