The Virg Rankin Relays is a tradition at North Union High School that has been known by several different names over the years.

In fact, the Panthers had 25 trips to the plate and could only muster three hits, all of them singles, during their 3-0 lose to the Jets.

They started on the right path with an 8-3 win over conference opponent Marion Harding on Wednesday.
North Union High School senior Ronnie Rayburn was today named to the Associated Press All-Ohio third team for Division III. Rayburn, who went past the 1,000-point (1,045 total) mark for his career during the 2016-17 season, averaged 19.3 points and nine rebounds per game for the 17-6 Wildcats.
