The North Union softball team claimed a crucial victory in the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division on Monday. The Lady Cats toppled Indian Lake 8-1, thanks to solid hitting that claimed early runs and sustained the Cats through six innings. The North Union boys and girls track teams competed at the Elgin Relays on Friday, NU’S boys took home their first team victory of the season with 108 points. The Lady Cats finished in fourth place with 61 points. The boys earned first place in five of the relay events.
