Steve Conley has worn plenty of hats throughout his professional career. He’s been a school teacher at Fairbanks High School, served as the Panthers’ athletic director during a couple of stints, coached sports such as football, track and field and boys and girls basketball and served as the director of Parks and Recreation for the city of Marysville. Conley, who is retired from the world of education, has now taken on another title, that of commissioner of the Ohio Heritage Conference. Jonathan Alder High School’s girls bowling team finished 11th overall during the recent national high school bowling tournament. The event was held in Louisville, Ky. The qualifying round of the tournament left the Lady Pioneers in ninth place (out of 35 teams). They advanced to three additional rounds before notching their final finish. Kadie Walter led Jonathan Alder with a 601 series during the team qualifying round. There were also singles qualifying competitions. Daisy Henderson of Alder finished in the top four during singles competition. She rolled games of 236, 134, 197 and 217 for a series score of 885.…
