Jonathan Alder’s High School football team will open the 2021 season on Friday at Amanda-Clearcreek. The Pioneers (8-1 during the 2020 campaign) will be guided by new head coach Nathan Snedeker. He took over for former head coach Brett Glass, who is now the football boss at Dublin Jerome High School. Tyler Gross carded a medalist score of 48 for Triad’s boys golf team on Wednesday. He helped lead the Cardinals to a 214-221 triumph over Northeastern. The 2021 high school football season begins on Friday with four of the five area teams in action. There is one local school with a new head coach.
