Traffic boxes in Marysville’s Uptown may soon get a little more colorful like the ones pictured above. The city and Main Street Marysville are asking local artists to submit their designs for artwork for the 2025 Uptown Traffic Box Art Project. Chosen designs will be converted into a vinyl covering that will then be wrapped around the boxes. Artists have until April 9 to submit their work. (Graphic submitted)

The planned Jerome Township garage building, pictured above in a rendering, will feature seven bays for the township’s truck fleet along with dedicated locker room, office and break room space. The Hyland Commons development, shown above outlined in red, is slated to go north of the Jerome Grand development on Hyland-Croy Road, with the assumed phase two expansion of Jerome Grand to the west. New designs for the Five Points roundabout, shown above, indicate there will be four routes at the intersection, as the City of Marysville plans to shut down and reroute a portion of East Fifth Street and add a light. The concept comes after the city announced it purchased the land that currently holds Eda’s Italian Ice. The project is slated for 2027. (Graphic submitted)

Plain City is considering a concept plan for a new development in the village. The site, shown above in yellow, would bring apartments and commercial lots to the land on the west side of U.S. 42, near Pastime Park.
