Wildcats, Pioneers advance in playoffs

A pair of local high school football teams, both members of the Central Buckeye Conference, will continue post-season action on Friday. In the above photo, North Union’s Nick Van Hoose (24) is tackled along the sidelines by a Williamsburg defender. The No. 8 Wildcats will travel to No. 5 Carlisle (Warren County) in Division V competition. In the bottom photo, Jonathan Alder’s Braxton Overmyer (2), Holden Glick (6) and Cody Yates (53) converge on a Johnstown-Monroe ballcarrier.
