Dear Editor,
The Union County Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee recommended to the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees that they support the Marysville Exempted Village School District five-year, 8.4-mill, emergency operating levy on the May 2, 2023 ballot. This levy will allow the district to maintain the strong programs and operations we’ve come to expect.
The Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees recognizes the impact a school district has on the business environment in the community and fully supports the levy.
Dave Amerine, president of the Chamber Board says, “The Chamber recognizes the value of our schools in supporting the quality of life of Union County families and looks forward to partnering with Marysville Exempted Village School District on various community and workforce development initiatives in the district.”
The Chamber strongly encourages voters to support the levy and cast their vote for the levy on May 2.
Tonya Woodruff,
Director of the Union County Chamber of Commerce
