Dear Editor,
Last Friday’s editorial’s sentence about the Speaker of the House and the stepping on the throats of the American people was written without merit. A lack of intelligence about the process was evident. The only intent of that line was to inflame passions. A more accurate and intelligent phrase would be “the Speaker of the House stepped on the President’s throat to keep him from grabbing five hundred billion dollars.”
The safeguards forced down Moscow Mitch’s throat have already been denounced by the President and has vowed not to comply. This act will make President Trump the only President to be impeached twice.

The articles on measures taken by the courts and hospitals in our county are the purpose of local newspapers. Local news is more needed now, than ever. I commend the reporters and your paper for keeping the local citizens informed on what the plan is for combating the approaching storm. We are blessed in our county to have a family, who for generations, has kept the population abreast of the facts in their immediate space.
