Dear Editor,
Concerning the photograph in the J-T a few weeks ago that shows some Marysville High School football players holding up some American flags and one blue thin line flag. It was a great photo and very patriotic to salute our first responders, military and law enforcement. These young students had some great parents who taught them well.
As expected, there were some who didn’t like the photo – two MHS grads and also school board member Brian Luke. Mr. Luke, speaking as a private citizen, not as a board member, said he has attended Black Lives Matters and has even marched with them. If you want to discuss racial equality you don’t go to BLM. Wrong group.
Does Mr. Luke even know about BLM? They are a marxist organization. A racist group. Not concerned about all lives matter – just theirs. They shout death to America and kill all police. Do they care about black-on-black murders. Look at Columbus, Chicago, NYC, Washington D.C. This doesn’t concern them. No mention about it.
It’s only when a black person is killed resisting arrest or using a weapon or attacking an officer and the officer is white.
BLM says if they don’t get their way they will destroy businesses that don’t donate money to BLM and will burn down the White House. Look at the NFL, NBA and baseball. They all fell on their knees. I refuse to even watch them.
Schools are also a target. If you don’t provide classes for the BLM movement, you will become a target.
I can see the weakness in the school board and they will submit to BLM.
Parents, keep your eye on the classes that are being taught in Marysville. And speak out what your children are being taught that are not with your values or of American values.
