According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, power lines were brought down on White Stone Road, between Kaiser and Lowe roads, after a 2003 Honda Civic, driven by Michael Hamilton, 36, of Marysville, struck a utility pole at 5:40 p.m. Thursday. He was headed northbound on White Stone Road until he veered off the right side of the road. Alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash. Hamilton was medflighted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for injuries. Union Rural Electric was called to the scene to fix the downed power lines, but it is unknown when the repair crew was done. Officers were able to clear the scene at 7:45 p.m.
