A Marysville council member and his wife are hospitalized and another Marysville man is dead following a crash in Madison County.
Marysville Councilman Nevin Taylor and his wife DeAnna Pfarr-Taylor remain at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, as of Friday morning.
About 1:50 p.m., Tuesday, DeAnna Pfarr-Taylor was driving north on Plain City-Georgesville Road. Nevin Taylor was a passenger in the van.
Muftah F. Fietouri, 62, was driving west on Cemetery Pike in Darby Township in a Hyundai Elantra.
According to information from the West Jefferson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Fietouri drove past a stop sign and into the intersection at Plain City-Georgesville Road.
Pfarr-Taylor allegedly hit Fietouri. According to the OSP, the two vehicles then hit a Toyota Sienna, driving south on Plain City-Georgesville Road and driven by James A. Jackson of Plain City.
Fietouri was taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the OSP. A passenger in Fietouri’s Elantra was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
DeAnna Pfarr-Taylor and Nevin Taylor were also taken to Riverside.
According to the OSP, Jackson and a passenger in his vehicle sustained minor injuries and were taken for treatment.
Officials are still investigating the crash according to the OSP.
