Bids bad for parking lot paving project


The Marysville High School football stadium parking lot is shown above during a track meet this spring. The lot, which also serves the Marysville Early College High School, is predominantly gravel, which can be seen on the right side of the photo. The district plans to pave and expand the lot, but was forced to reject the only two bids received for the project, forcing officials to scramble to ensure the work is finished before the start of next school year.
