Collins Road at Middleburg Plain City will be closed until at least the end of November for a bridge replacement. County Engineer Jeff Stauch said the bridge at that intersection is being rehabilitated. He said the bridge was built in the 1970 and has deteriorated over time. Stauch said rehabilitating the bridge over the Big Darby is more cost effective than replacing it. Stauch said the bridge will get a new concrete and steel deck. He said the project will cost close to $800,000 with about $200,000 coming from an Ohio Public Works Commission grant.
