A Massachusetts man could be facing more than four decades in prison after a local traffic stop revealed guns, drugs and a stolen car.
The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Francisco Xavier Gonzalez Pagan, 37, of Fall River, Massachusetts, charging him with three counts of grand theft of a firearm, two counts of receiving stolen property and one count each of burglary, trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, having weapons under a disability and criminal damaging.
According to court documents, on Dec. 10, Gonzalez Pagan was in Jerome Township driving a white 2009 Mini Cooper that had been reported stolen two days earlier in Massachusetts. Gonzalez Pagan was listed as the suspect in the theft.
The Mini Cooper was stopped by a Union County Sheriff’s deputy who requested assistance from the Marysville Police Department K-9.
According to court documents, the drug dog, “indicated the presence of narcotics coming from the vehicle.”
During a search of the vehicle, investigators found 19.39 grams of what they believed to be cocaine. Court documents indicate a field test confirmed their suspicion.

Gonzalez Pagan has prior felony convictions that prohibit him from owning or even having firearms.
Once Gonzalez Pagan was put in the deputy’s cruiser, he allegedly bent the vehicle’s back seat camera mount and air vent.
Gonzalez Pagan is currently being held in the Tri-County Regional Jail. Bond has been set at $250,000.
If convicted on all charges, Gonzalez Pagan could face more than 42 years in prison.
According to a recent report from the World Drug Report, cocaine prices have increased drastically over the past two decades, while purity has decreased. According to the World Drug Report, typically cocaine in the U.S. costs about $112 per gram. Officials said that typically, a gram of cocaine can be broken down into 10 lines or about 25 “bumps” or “hits.” Though people use cocaine at different rates depending on their addiction and tolerance, some more addicted users can use up to 5 grams per day.
– Robert Jay Norman, 41, of Columbus. Norman is charged with one count each of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of a Fentanyl-related compound.
According to court documents, on May 5, Norman was arrested with a bulk amount of methamphetamine as well as a Fentanyl-related compound and hypodermic needles.
If convicted, Norman could face as many as six years in prison.
– Tami Lee Locklear, 36, of 724 E. Sixth St., Marysville. Locklear is charged with one count each of theft of drugs and receiving stolen property.
According to court documents, on Oct. 7, Locklear allegedly stole suboxone.
If convicted, Locklear could face as many as 36 months in prison.
– Katie Marie McBride, 35, of Grove City. McBride is charged with one count of grand theft. According to court documents, on Nov. 27, McBride allegedly stole a 2018 Honda Accord from Honda Marysville.
If convicted. McBride could face as many as 18 months in prison.
– Deven Miguel Haulcy, 21, of Columbus. Haulcy is charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.
According to court documents, on Nov. 18, Haulcy was arrested as part of a traffic stop. When investigators searched the vehicle, a loaded gun was found in the car, along with marijuana. The gun was allegedly stolen.
If convicted, Haulcy could face as many as 36 months in prison.
