Marysville officials tested nearly all of the storm water outlets in the city Thursday. Cole Riley, city project engineer, said the tests are aimed at eliminating illicit discharges into the city’s water ways. The city collects water at nearly every outlet and checks for contaminants like ammonia, E. Coli, paint, laundry soap, fertilizer, even overflow from the city’s sanitary sewers. The city will investigate and report any abnormal test results.
