Lines formed at cash registers around Union County and the country as shoppers rushed out for their Black Friday treasures. Traditionally, the day after Thanksgiving has been seen as the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season and a day of big discounts on a wide variety of items. At Rural King, officials said a pistol and a shop light were the hot items at their Marysville store.
