Traffic was slowed this morning about 8 a.m. after a dump truck, carrying scrap metal, tipped and went off the road at the intersection of routes 4 and 347. The truck apparently hit another vehicle then spilled the scrap metal over the road. The Ohio Department of Transportation has been notified of the crash, according to officials. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. At press time, OSP investigators were on the scene and a report was not available. Officials said there were only minor injuries. Route 4 was closed shortly, but one lane was eventually opened to allow traffic through.
