Carissa Meyer has been named 2022 Union County Jr. Fair Queen. Meyer is a 2021 graduate of Marysville High School and the Ohio Hi-Point culinary school. She is a member of Creative Clovers United 4-H Club. This year Meyer is showing projects in Edible Landscape, Make Over My Space, Superhero You, Tracking Your Health and Fitness, Mentoring, My First Home Away from Home, Woodworking, Camp Counseling, and Nutrition for a Better Life. Meyer is also a member of Union County Junior Fair Board and Union County Advisory Council. She is involved with her family lawn business, kung fu, and is currently employed at Texas Roadhouse. Meyer said her favorite fair memory is when her cow laid down during sale pictures and it took 10 grown men to move her back to the pen. Her favorite fair food is s’mores funnel cake.
