Officials are putting the final touches on a year-long construction project to build a new Ohio Department of Transportation garage near the intersection of state Route 4 and Collins Avenue, adjacent to the Ohio Reformatory for Women, in Marysville. Above, Greg Grigsby works to install signage at the site. The new garage is about three times the size of the older facility on Chestnut Street. The new garage will hold almost twice as many vehicles, will have room for 5,000 tons of salt and will have a new, “state of the art brine system” that will allow workers to mix specific brine combinations to fit certain needs and road conditions.
