Kenton Williams, an engineer at Honda, presented at the first S.T.E.M. Talk of the year at Marysville’s Early College High School. The lectures help connect students at the school with individuals working in the technology fields. Williams’ work at Honda focuses on using robotic exoskeleton’s to help disabled people walk. ECHS organizers said they wanted Williams to be the season’s first presenter because his work combines many of the pathways available at the school. Williams, who attended graduate school at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said his understanding of robots was influenced by movies. Williams urged students, “Don’t chase a paycheck, chase your passion.”
