Route 31, north of Marysville, was closed for nearly three hours Tuesday after a dump truck full of dirt and gravel, rolled, spilling its load across the road. According to the report, at about 2:26 p.m., Tuesday, Mark E. Withrow, 48, of Marysville, was driving a 2020 Kenworth dump south on Route 31, when he went off the road and into a ditch, near Hillview Road. The driver overcorrected and tipped his truck onto its side. The Union County Sheriff’s Office along with the Marysville Fire Department responded to the scene. Withrow was issued a traffic citation for failure to control. The road was reopened to the public about 5:17 p.m.
