According to court documents, about 11:39 p.m., April 3, Huff arrived at an apartment in the 400 block of Wind Mil Drive.
According to court documents he was “uninvited and unannounced.”
Huff went to the back of the apartment where his brother and his ex-girlfriend were sitting around a fire. According to court documents, Huff had only recently broken up with the former girlfriend.
“Brandon was very upset and came over looking for (the former girlfriend),” according to court documents.
The occupant of the apartment was inside and upstairs caring for her child.
The ex-girlfriend carried her son inside the house also, “to get away from Brandon.”
The woman got inside and shut the door.
According to court documents, “Brandon forcefully kicked the door open causing the door to strike (the ex-girlfriend and her son).
Huff came into the apartment. When the occupant heard the commotion, she came downstairs and called police. The occupant told police she did not know Huff was at the home and that he did not have her permission to enter her home.
The girlfriend told police that, “after Brandon kicked the door in, he charged at her, pinning her against the counter, yelling at her.”
Huff allegedly told the woman she wasn’t going to “play” him in front of her friends.
At that point, Huff’s brother stepped between Huff and the woman. He told Huff to leave.
While Huff and his brother were arguing, the woman went to her son, who was hit in the face when Huff allegedly broke the door in.
While the woman was with her son, Huff allegedly yelled and charged her again.
The brother was able to get in front of Huff again. This time, Huff allegedly threatened to break his brother’s jaw. Eventually, the brother was able to get Huff to walk outside and the former girlfriend called 911.
“(The woman) stated that she was in fear that Brandon was going to physically harm her the entire time he was there,” according to police reports.
Moments later, Huff came back to the home apologizing and offering to pay $200 for damage he caused to the apartment.
