Marysville Journal-Tribune and city officials unveiled a large, antique-style clock that the newspaper donated at Partners Park during the Friday Nights Uptown event. Given as a lead-in to the city’s 200th anniversary, the two-sided clock, sits on the former location of the first Marysville Tribune building. Pictured at left with the clock are, from left to right, city council member Scott Brock, mayor J.R. Rausch, Dan, Berkley, Kevin, Roberta and Melanie Behrens representing the third, fourth and fifth generation of ownership of the family newspaper, council member Henk Berbee and city manager Terry Emery. The clock is meant as a reminder that quality newspapers, like the J-T and its 170-year history, stand the test of time.
