Like they have done so many times the last couple of weeks, local residents spent the early morning hours shoveling or plowing snow. Above, Gene Miller uses his garden tractor to clear the sidewalks and parking areas in front of the Hope Center on Chestnut Street. Below, Miriam Correal shovels the snow in front of the building where she lives on Main Street. She said it is difficult for plows to clear the streets or help remove snow because of the cars parked on the streets. Marysville is working to help with that. City crews will be removing snow on Uptown streets beginning at 10 p.m. tonight. The city is informing residents they must remove vehicles parked on these streets no later than 9 p.m. to allow for snow clearing operations. (Journal-Tribune photos by Mac Cordell)
