Thomson is a very versatile adult writer. Many of her books appeal to readers who like books mingled with historical fiction. She believes that everybody can learn from history.
She has published eight novels and written for Internet Genealogy and Your Genealogy Today magazines.
On her website, cindyswriting.com, she answers questions about writing and makes writing suggestions on how to improve grammar, word choice, and sentence structure.
Residents are invited to meet the author at the event, where she will sign books which will be available for purchase.
Tickets are available at the door or at the Marysville Public Library. Students will be admitted free.
The visiting author on March 19 will be A. E. Jones, who has won awards for two of her books, Mind Sweeper and Sentinel Lost.
