One injured in crash near Fairbanks

At approximately 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, an injury crash occurred on State Route 38 in front of Fairbanks High School. Joe Newell, Fairbanks Middle School Principal, said no students were involved in the accident. However, one individual was transported from the scene by ambulance to be treated for injuries. Across the roadway, there were also two vehicles that appeared to have been involved in a collision, but officials on the scene were not sure if the two incidents were related. Individuals were being asked to keep a distance from the scene because of a man acting erratically near the incident.
