The Marysville Division of Police is looking for a man who broke into Dave’s Pharmacy on West Fifth Street early this morning.
According to Marysville Police Department Deputy Chief Tony Brooks, officers responded to an alarm at about 1:30 a.m. Monday. They noticed some ceiling tiles had been disturbed inside and a hole in a gable on the north side of the building.
Police officers and Union County Sheriff’s Deputies searched the building but found no one inside. Surveillance footage shows a white male wearing a plaid shirt and dark shorts carrying a backpack.
Brooks said they have not yet determined if the suspect took anything from the store.
“As far as I know at this point in time, I’m not sure that anything was stolen,” he said.
Brooks said authorities are still investigating the incident, and he didn’t want to speculate what the suspect was doing in the store.
The police are asking residents for any information they might have about the man shown in the footage. Those with any information can call the police at 937-645-7300 or email them at police@marysvilleohio.org.
