School holds first Academic Signing Day

Marysville Early College High School (ECHS) held its first Academic Signing Day this morning in the Marysville High School Auditorium. The program was designed as a counterpart to athletic college signing days which are held at high schools throughout the country. The Academic Signing Day recognized 50 graduating seniors who have been awarded $5,000 or more in scholarship offers. In total, the 50 students recognized received more than $3.3 million in scholarships.
