Kroger Pharmacy in Marysville will be offering COVID-19 vaccines to those who are 80 and older.
Like vaccines offered by the Union County Health Department, shots administered at Kroger will also require an appointment.
Appointments can be made at kroger.com/ohiocovidvaccine or by calling Kroger’s COVID-19 vaccine helpline at 866-211-5320.
The Kroger helpline will be active starting Saturday, Jan. 16.
Appointments for vaccines administered through UCHD can be scheduled at www.UCHDclinic.org. Those without internet access can call the health department at (937) 642-2053 Friday, Monday or Tuesday to make an appointment over the phone.
Appointments are first come, first serve based on the number of vaccines distributed to UCHD by the Ohio Department of Health.
The online scheduler will close once all available appointments are booked. UCHD will announce on Thursdays when the scheduler will open the following week.
UCHD is not pre-registering individuals for future clinics because the number of doses that will arrive weekly are unknown.
Individuals that need further help making an appointment or transportation assistance should call Union County Senior Services at (937) 644-1010 and selecting option 5.
Several local churches have also agreed to assist parishioners in scheduling their appointments online. Residents are encouraged to reach out to their church for assistance or more information.
