Marysville street crews worked into the night Thursday to remove snow piles from the city’s Uptown area. A snow blower attached to a Bobcat tossed snow into the back of a dump truck to get it off the streets and sidewalks. Officials said the removal went “extremely well” and they anticipate clearing the remaining snow on Sunday evening. City staff has made clearing the Uptown streets — Fifth Street, between Court and Plum streets, and Main Street, between Sixth and Fourth streets — a priority, noting that keeping curbs and sidewalks clean, helps keep businesses accessible to the public.
